Pin headers (pin header connectors) with pitch 2,0 mm produces at the factory in the form of lines with incised insulator at the 1x50, 2x50, 3x50 or 4x50 pins.
Then they can be cut at the factory on a special device for the required number of pins: single-row pins are cut into any number of pins: 1, 2, 3... etc.., double-row pins are cut into any even number of pins: 2, 4, 6... etc.
The cost of cutting only slightly increases the price of a single contact, but the cut is almost perfect, without chipping at the ends, and the customer does not spend time on the work, which is easily done by the machine.
Sockets for pin headers are made by casting on the required number of contacts. |
